GPS (Global Position Systems)
Subsea Sampling's survey capabilities benefit from continued investment in technological innovation. We maintain global satellite coverage for the differential global positioning systems (DGPS).
Hydrographic Survey Systems
SSS owns and operates hydrographic survey systems for a wide variety of applications. SSS maintains a variety of Multibeam Hydrographic survey hardware and software, as well as equipment for side scan sonar and tide measurement. Our data processing systems use the finest data imaging technology available today.
Mapping Systems
SSS has automated our entire mapping system. Advanced software programs help manage data, build base maps, calculate volumes, and serve as a check for re-computing field computations and allow the company's surveyors and hydrographers to quickly produce detailed, accurate drawings, saving substantial time in rework and reproduction costs.
Vessels
SSS owns a wide variety of survey vessels that are utilized for most hydrographic survey sites and leases vessels of opportunity when needed. The vessels combine the latest in positioning and hydrographic technologies, and are capable of simultaneously collecting geophysical and bathymetric data to produce depth profiles, sub-bottom records, swath sounding contours, and side scan sonar information and the location and extent of anomalies.
Our staff is highly trained, certified, and have extensive experience in site investigation technologies for offshore applications. When combined with our cutting edge technologies and advanced equipment, our team is able to create a seamless working relationship with each client and design solutions to address even the most complex project requirements. |
